Wednesday's 1.30 pm-3.00 pm at Hauroko Valley Primary School

The aim of discovery learning is to provide meaningful, challenging, hands-on, and enjoyable experiences.  Discovery learning,  provides opportunities for literacy, numeracy, and inquiry learning.

 

Learning through play helps Hauroko Valley School realise the vision of the New Zealand Curriculum to develop confident, connected, actively involved, lifelong learners. 

 

Our Hauroko Valley Primary School Values are enhanced through our Discovery Time sessions.  The focus on communicating between students is incredibly valuable to the success of their development. Key Capabilities and School Values with a real purpose. 

 

Along with this, there are also opportunities to further develop fine motor and gross motor skills.

We welcome our 4-year-old friends to join us on Thursday afternoons from 1.30 pm-3.00 pm.
